30 years of senior executive leadership at Flexcon, SharkNinja, Velcro, and Whirlpool across B2B and B2C markets in Europe, Asia, and the US.
When to Engage
1. Growth has stalled, plateaued, or become inconsistent despite continued effort.
2. Strategy and execution are misaligned. The business is busy but not moving forward.
3. A founder-led or entrepreneurial business is preparing for its next phase of growth.
4. The company is preparing for expansion, investment, sale, or ownership transition.
5. Product, commercial, and organizational priorities are pulling in different directions.
6. A PE-backed portfolio company needs experienced operating leadership post-acquisition.

How I Think About Growth
Creating constructive urgency
Most companies facing stalled growth are not short on effort. They are short on strategic clarity. The real problem is rarely execution alone. It is that the strategy itself has not been sufficiently challenged, or is not well enough understood across the organization to drive consistent decisions. My first role is to make the gap between current performance and what is genuinely possible explicit and undeniable, before a crisis forces the conversation. That tension shifts leadership teams from defending the present to designing a different future.
Pressure-testing before committing
I approach strategy as a hypothesis-driven process, not a single answer to be discovered. Working cross-functionally and across levels of the organization, I help leadership teams develop multiple clearly articulated strategic options, then rigorously challenge each one. I prefer to prove hypotheses wrong early, before organizations commit significant resources to strategies that look attractive on paper but fail in execution.
From strategy to execution
Strategy only matters when it changes behavior. Once direction is clear, I translate strategic intent into a small number of executable priorities, aligned decision rights, and disciplined resource allocation. Structure should follow strategy, not the other way around. Starting with a blank sheet of paper, I define the ideal organizational design: the roles, deliverables, accountabilities, and skills each position requires. Only then do we assess the current team honestly, identifying who fits, where the gaps are, and what changes need to be made. Equally important is aligning incentives with strategic intent. Remuneration sends powerful signals about what the organization truly values. If the incentives are not aligned with the strategy, the strategy will lose every time.
The outcome
A direction that leadership teams have shaped and believe in. An organization designed to execute the strategy it has chosen, with the right people in the right roles, motivated by the right incentives, and held together through clear accountability and a consistent review cadence.
